Extending your Field Trip
into the Classroom
Are you planning on bringing your class to the Aquarium, the Seal Lion Center, or the Bay Model and want to extend students’ learning beyond their visit? We are currently developing resources that you can use in your classroom both before and after a field trip to be sure the visit is integrated into your curriculum. Each guide contains multiple thematic lesson plans and activities and is aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards.
