Visit Aquarium of the Bay this St. Patrick’s Day weekend on March 16 & 17 to learn about what you can do to stop Climate Change today!
We have some special programs planned:
- 11:00 am: Marine Life and the Plastic Invaders – The story of the impact of marine debris on sea life, demonstrated by a hands-on dissection of an albatross bolus.
- 11:30 am: Turtle encounter – Meet our Red-eared Slider Turtle, a climate change ambassador
- 12:30 pm: Snake encounter – Meet our California Kingsnake, a climate change ambassador.
- 1:15 pm: Feeling the Heat – A short experiment that demonstrates how humans are changing the climate.
- 2:30 pm: Marine Life and the Plastic Invaders – The story of the impact of marine debris on sea life, demonstrated by a hands-on dissection of an albatross bolus.
- 3:15: Feeling the Heat – A short experiment that demonstrates how humans are changing the climate.
- 4:00 pm: Skink encounter – Meet our Blue-tongued Skink, a climate change ambassador.
Additionally, there will be a station in the Aquarium’s Touch the Bay to learn more about waste and recycling while making your own recycled crafts from 11am – 4pm.
