2018 marks the 20th anniversary of the publication of From the Sierra to the Sea:
The Ecological History of the San Francisco Bay-Delta Watershed. This 2018 Edition consists of a new Foreword by John Hart and Afterword by The Bay Institute along with all the sections from the 1998 publication, unchanged from the original, except for a two-sentence revision in Chapter 3 made to the 2003 reprint. The new Afterword, describing important changes to Bay-Delta watershed conditions and management in the 20 years since publication of the original report, is located at the end of the report following the Appendix with the original maps.
